Tips & Notes
- This recipe is not for frozen hot dogs. If you want to air fry frozen hot dogs, then defrost them in the microwave and cook them in a preheated air fryer at 360 F for 8 minutes.
- Make slits in hotdogs before putting them in the air fryer, it’s good for appearance and the hot dogs crisp up nicely.
- You can also coat the buns with butter, this will make the buns softer and fluffier.
- If you are only cooking 2-3 hotdogs at a single time, then don’t use parchment paper or aluminum foil as the hotdogs won’t be able to hold them down due to their lighter weight.
