The process is also similar to cooking pepperoni chips. But to cook keto pepperoni crackers, you should have an air fryer with a metal rack such as

Otherwise, you can cook them in the oven.

Cover the metal rack with parchment paper and place pepperoni slices in a row parallel to each other. Then and add shredded mozzarella cheese to each pepperoni slice. Then sprinkle dried oregano and salt pepper on them. Place the rack in the air fryer and cook for 8 mins at 380 F.

You can store pepperoni chips in an air-tight container. Keep them away from moisture and heat. Store them in a cool place and away form sunlight as well.

But I would recommend not to store them for too long as they will feel dried out when stored for longer than 3 days. It’s also not healthy to eat long-stored products. So, consume at the earliest in order to enjoy the nutrients and great taste.

There could be a number of causes for that. If the pepperoni chips in your air fryer are not crispy, the temperature or cooking time could be the problem. You might be cooking them at too low a temperature or not for sufficient time.

Too thick slices can also hinder pepperoni chips from getting crispy. Moreover, cramming too many pepperoni slices into the air fryer basket may also prevent your chips from being crispy.

Air Fryer Pepperoni Chips With Cream Cheese

Adding cream cheese to pepperoni slices is a new trending addition to pepperoni slices. It makes them more unique and creates a different juicy flavor. The process is similar and easy to classical pepperoni chips.

This recipe also goes well for an air fryer with a rack. Place parchment paper in your air fryer. Then place pepperoni slices in a single layer with a small gap between them. Add a 1/2 teaspoon of cream cheese to each pepperoni. Then place a second pepperoni on top of the cream cheese. Now it will resemble a burger, where cream cheese is in the center and pepperoni is placed in the bottom and top, respectively.
