Step-By-Step- Cooking Guide
Air fryer soft boiled eggs are delicious and are a very healthy option for a quick meal or breakfast. They are a good source of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Cooking them in an air fryer can provide a soft texture on the outside while still maintaining the creamy texture of the yolk.

I am using ninja dual for boiling these eggs.

To prepare soft-boiled eggs in an air fryer, start by preheating your air fryer to 320°F for 2 minutes.
Then, carefully place the eggs in the ninja dual basket, ensuring they are not touching and have a little space between them.
Cook the eggs at 260°F for 8 minutes.

After cooking, transfer the eggs to a bowl filled with cold water (ice is optional) and let them sit for about 2 minutes to cool down, making them easier to peel.
Pair your soft-boiled eggs with Brussels sprouts or frozen asparagus and bacon for a more nutritious meal. They are a delicious and healthy option as part of a balanced diet.
Notes & Tips
1- Experimentation is the key. If you are using an air fryer for boiling eggs for the very first time, then you need to test different timings.
2- Take 4 eggs and start boiling them in the air fryer. After 6 minutes take one out, another at 7 minutes, another at 8 minutes, and the final one at 9 minutes. This way you will get a clear idea, of what’s the perfect cooking time for your favorite soft boiled eggs.
3- Avoid using eggs with a cracked shell for better results.
4- I would recommend using eggs at room temperature. Take them out of the fridge and place them on your kitchen counter for at least half an hour.
5- This recipe timing is for eggs at normal room temperature.
Can you boil an egg in an air fryer without water?

How Can You Differentiate Between Soft Boiled & Hard Boiled Eggs?
If you have been cooking eggs for some time you can easily identify between soft and hard-boiled eggs. However, you can’t tell accurately before peeling a boiled egg whether it is soft or hard boiled.
The main factors are timing and temperature. Soft boiled eggs are soft, and they feel just like jam or jelly. While hard boiled eggs are more likely like rubber. And, for hard boiled eggs, you will see a green ring around the York which indicates that the egg has been overcooked.
How to store and reheat boiled eggs?
According to the safety guidelines of USDA, you can store cooked eggs for 7 days.
Simply place your cooked eggs in an airtight jar or container and put them in your refrigerator.
But don’t cut the eggs before storing them, just peel them and put them in the container, and store them.
What you can serve with boiled eggs?
You can try multiple items. Most people like to eat boiled eggs in the morning with breakfast. You can add some more dishes for a complete breakfast. Below are some of my suggestions:

How to peel soft boiled egg?
Start peeling them from the fat side of the egg, this way you will feel more at ease peeling them. Gently tap the egg on a hard surface, such as a countertop or cutting board, to crack the shell all around. Be careful not to crack the egg too hard, or the egg white may break.
You can also eat the soft boiled egg with a spoon. Peel the egg on the wider side halfway only not completely. Just peel enough so a small spoon can enter the egg. A small spoon can enter easily inside the egg. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the peeled side.
Start eating the egg on the peeled side. Then you can eat the half-peeled egg with a teaspoon easily.
How long to soft boil an egg in air fryer?
6-8 minutes is sufficient for soft boiled eggs. It also depends on how soft you want your eggs to be. I like medium soft eggs with a jell-type texture. If you want them to be further soft, you can cook them for 5 minutes at 280 F.
