This is my favorite receipt that I love to try at weekends is Trader Joe’s Kung Pao Chicken. It gets ready in a matter of minutes and after trying it for the first time ever, I am just loving it. It gets ready in just 15 minutes, compared to the traditional oven method, which can take up to 25 minutes.

How To Cook Trader Joe’s Kung Pao Chicken In Air Fryer

Cooking Trader Joe’s Kung Pao Chicken in an air fryer is a quick and convenient method that results in a delicious, satisfying meal. 

Ingredients

1 lb. Trader Joe’s Frozen Kung Pao Chicken

oil spray 

Salt and pepper, to taste

Green onion, (For garnish)

Step-By-Step-Guide

Step-1: Preheat the air fryer to 400 F for 2 minutes.

Syep-2: The Trader Joe’s kung pao chicken pack will contain chicken, peanuts, sauces, and veggies. All in separate bags. First, we will cook chicken alone in the air fryer. Place the chicken from the packing and spread it evenly in the air fryer basket.

Step-3: First, cook the chicken alone in the air fryer at 390F for 8 minutes. 

Step-4: Now add veggies and peanuts with chicken that is already cooking in the air fryer. Spray all ingredients with olive oil. Cook further for 7-8 minutes.

Step-5: At the same time warm the sauce on the stovetop or microwave it.

Step-6: Take out the chicken and veggies in a bowl. 

Step-7: Pour the sauce over chicken, peanuts, and veggies and mix well.

Can I add extra veggies to the air-fried Kung Pao Chicken?

Although veggies come with a trader joe’s pack but if you still want to add more veggies you can add them. This is a great way to customize the dish to your preferences and increase its nutritional value. Some popular vegetables to add include bell peppers, onions, broccoli, zucchini, or snap peas. But make sure that the veggies you add should be semi-cooked so they can be cooked quickly in the air fryer.

No, there is no need to thaw it, just cook directly straight from the fridge in the air fryer.
