You may have tried chicken wings many times but today I will tell you a different way of cooking them with the air fryer. When the wings cook in the air fryer, the scent of garlic and parmesan will surely tempt your taste buds and make you want more. The savory sauce that the parmesan and garlic create together gives the wings an additional layer of richness. You can easily tailor the flavor of the garlic parmesan sauce using the air fryer to suit your preferences.

How To Cook Garlic Parmesan Wings In Air Fryer

Ingredients

1 pound chicken wings 

1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon corn starch

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 minced garlic cloves 

1/2 teaspoon of salt 

1 teaspoon of black pepper 

1/2 teaspoon of minced parsley leaves

1/2 teaspoon of paprika 

3 tablespoon of unsalted butter

Step-By-Step Guide

Step-1: Pat the chicken wings with a paper towel as they should be dried completely before cooking. 

Step-2: Take a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and corn starch. Coat the chicken wings well with all ingredients. 

Step-3: Let the chicken wings be coated in the mixture for 10 minutes. 

Step-4: Preheat your air fryer to 380 F.

Step-5: Place coated chicken wings in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Don’t place them over each other.

Step-6: Cook chicken wings at 400 F for 7 minutes. Then flip their sides and cook for another 8 minutes.  

Step-7: Make garlic butter sauce for serving. Add unsalted butter, parmesan cheese and minced garlic and cook then on pan for 3-4 minutes. Once the sauce is ready pour over chicken wings, coat well and serve with parsley leaves. Enjoy!

Tips & Notes

1- For crispier wings, I have added 1 tablespoon of corn starch. You can also add baking powder as well if you are keen on making the wings extra crispy. 

2- Preheating the air fryer before cooking garlic parmesan wings is very effective and it prevents the wings from sticking to the air fryer basket and more even cooking. 

3- You can also spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil as oil. It functions as a nonstick surface and stops wings from sticking to the air fryer basket.

4- I always suggest keeping a check on what you are cooking. Because it aids to make sure your wings are cooking nicely without being burnt.
