What Is 5-5-5 Method For Cooking Hard Boiled Eggs?

5-5-5 is one of the trending methods for cooking hard boiled eggs. But it’s not my personal favorite method for cooking hard boiled eggs. Because I don’t like too much hard boiled eggs, I prefer to have a little softer texture not too soft but not too hard either. The 5-5-5 method for cooking hard boiled eggs involves 5 minutes of pressure cooking the eggs followed by 5 minutes of natural release and finally putting your eggs in ice water for 5 minutes. 

You can change the timings to get your desired hardness instead of 5-5-5 you can try 4-4-4 or 3-3-3. You just have to adjust 1 minute in each phase to check what works best for you. The more time you decrease the softer eggs you will get. 

In order to get soft boiled eggs in ninja foodi simply try the 3-3-3 method which means 3 minutes of pressure cooking followed by 3 minutes of natural release and putting them in cold water for 3 minutes. 

Another factor to consider is the size of your eggs. The larger eggs will take a minute more than the smaller eggs. So you see there is no one size fits all formula you have to do some experiments to know what works best for you.
